O texto reporta a investiga\u00e7\u00e3o por nanoespectroscopia Raman (TERS) da reconstru\u00e7\u00e3o at\u00f4mica de \u00e1tomos de carbono quando duas folhas de grafeno s\u00e3o empilhadas com um pequeno angulo de rota\u00e7\u00e3o. Este rearranjo dos \u00e1tomos de carbono neste novo nanomaterial gera novas propriedades \u00f3pticas e eletr\u00f4nicas com alto potencial de aplica\u00e7\u00f5es tecnol\u00f3gicas, que incluem inclusive a supercondutividade. O trabalho foi realizado em colabora\u00e7\u00e3o com a UFMG por meio do Laborat\u00f3rio Associado ao Inmetro para Inova\u00e7\u00e3o em Instrumenta\u00e7\u00e3o Cient\u00edfica (LA3IC).<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\u201cEstas imagens de alt\u00edssima efici\u00eancia \u00f3ptica e com resolu\u00e7\u00e3o espacial menor que 20 nm, o que \u00e9 30x menor que o limite de difra\u00e7\u00e3o, s\u00f3 foram poss\u00edveis pelo emprego das nanoantenas \u00f3pticas desenvolvidas no Inmetro e UFMG, as chamadas PTTPs (do ingl\u00eas plasmon-tunable tip pyramids)\u201d, comenta o pesquisador da Divis\u00e3o de Metrologia de Materiais do Inmetro, Dr. Thiago Vasconcelos, um dos autores do artigo.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">O artigo tamb\u00e9m destaca o inovador processo com alto controle do empilhamento de folhas de grafeno feito na UFMG. Os resultados experimentais combinados com os modelos te\u00f3ricos possibilitaram um novo entendimento da f\u00edsica por tr\u00e1s deste novo nanomaterial.
