Comitê Técnico - Colin Lightbody

Colin Lightbody is Head of Flow Measurement Consultancy at TÜV SÜD National Engineering Laboratory and Chair of the Global and ASMEA Flow Measurement Workshops. He also serves as Deputy Chair of the British Standards Institute fluid flow measurement committee CPI/30/5  – Velocity and Mass Methods, and a member of ISO/TC 30/TC 5/WG1 – Ultrasonic Flow Measurement for Gas. With over 30 years in the field, he has worked in metrology, product development, metrology approvals and consultancy for major international energy companies. He holds a BSc in Instrumentation and Applied Physics and has authored several technical papers. Colin developed patented diagnostic techniques for ultrasonic meters and currently focuses on metering technologies that reduce the environmental impact of oil and gas production, including virtual flow metering and emissions quantification tools.
